I love your samplers. I really need to do that, but first I have onsies for babies to embroider. Keep it up, you're inspiring me.
Jody
Maya your TAST samplers are inspirational and you may have noticed that I've tried out several of your ideas on my own pieces! Hope you don't mind. I'm new to embroidery/stitching so it's good to see what can be done with all these stitches. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your encouragement. I have just spent a happy time reading your blog. Your work is beautiful and sensitive too.
this looks so good :-)
Impressive!
Wow! This page is so cool! You have to do 46 more? OMG I don't think I would have the patience to do that...
Right now I'm working on a stitches sampler needleroll, but it doesn't have so many...
have a great weekend.will keep the fingers crossed for the tiger.lovely stitches by the way.
Hi Embellisher,
I feel like I always write the same comment: "Beautiful" or "Fantastic," but that's how I see your work/play. I like the colors a lot, and I like to imagined the weight of the cloth with all of that thread on it.
Sometime please put an object in the photo just for size reference.
Wow, a jungle. That sound so exciting. I hope your return unscathed.
Maya, Love this stitch....most especially, the two hearts!!! I'm looking this one up in my stitch book.
Your pages are fantastic! Pat
Thank- you ladies each one of you for stopping by,what immense joy to get back from the jungle and find over five comments to be moderated.
Julie please go ahead and be inspired by my work and use things you see in my samplers in your own work I don't mind because I'm sure you'll give it your own personal flavour.
Pam thanks for stopping by to visit.I must take some time to read through your blog
Hi there Sandra, I know 46 sounds like an awful lot and I didn't think I'd last this long but the group at Stitchin Fingers is most supportive so I'm sure I'll surprise myself.Very inspiring group of people and their work, do check it out.
Hello Caroline, good suggestion to put soemthing else into the pic to judge the sizes but until then the size of the sampler pages are 4inches x 6inches the standard size of a postcard.
Megha thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for the tiger!!!
Pat the hearts were inspired in part by your work and I know I'll be using them in our swap.
I just love the work you do, I never ever embroidered after school & I have not really missed it, but to see your work is to see someone who loves what they are doing & have fun with it. This really inspires me & I want to feature your work on my blog. I thought I should drop in this line & tell you that I am doing it :)
I love your TAST pages and also the monthly TIFs. Your whole blog is beautiful, a wonderful combination of life.
Vineeta what can I say? So totally unexpected, I'm floored.Thank-you
