TAST - Detached Chain

The stitch for the third week of June was Detached Chain. Looking forward to the TIF and TAST in July.
Got to do a bit of cooking today. Make the dessert for a dinner party tonight with friends I think I need to try something different and also get some cooking done for the weekend so I spend more time with R rather than in the kitchen.
Have a great weekend.

I haven't visited you in a while and look what I have missed - these wonderfully beautiful embroidered stitch samplers that you say are book pages. I am blown away by them! You should look into doing a book of these that people like me could BUY!!! I am inspired by you. Pat at birdnestontheground

Pat thanks for coming by.Your comment is music to my ears! You would actually consider buying a book like the one I've described I'm doing with the stitch samplers I'm making? Wow! I'm going to give it some serious thought and when I do have something like an Etsy shop going I'll be the first to let you know. Thanks gain.

Its going to to be a while before the book gets done, but I will start putting it together in a month or two.I suspect there are going to be atleast two volumes. Thanks for your encouraging comment Sandra.

Hi Embellisher,
Now that my home is Internet-free, I am reduced to going to a nearby cafe to connect with my bloggy friends. Now I discover that I've missed several interesting posts.

Your stiches are beautiful and delicate. I love the mix of colors. I also enjoyed the post on gardens. Finally, that carrot dessert looks so delicious. Laura and I might try it.

Thanks for the July 4th wishes. I am bracing myself for the noise tonight.
