Both Ben and Blackie made friends with the cats but they kept their distance.
Ben taught me perseverance. He would bark endlessly if he wanted a treat. Ben taught me that you can learn to adapt and love again.
Ben was devoted to Blackie. He wouldn't eat if Blackie wasn't around, he took all his cues from Blackie.
Muruga was one of his favourite people.
Ben passed away on 29th October, he had a heart attack. I believe he didn't suffer.
I miss my big furry baby.
Rest in peace Ben.

nothing feels quite like this, and nothing is as painful. it will make you smile eventually to look at these photos, and that will be ok, but from my experience, there will still be moments when the photo will catch you unaware and you will cry. its a sad thing, no matter how you look at it. They just don't live long enough
