I've been slaving over this sheer cotton silk scarf for the past two or is it three weeks, trying to populate it with random lines of cretan stitch to produce an overgrown effect. Its getting there.
The square patches are tussar silk appliqued onto the cotton silk with running stitch.

Maya, this is so pretty. The colours, the silky fabric and your perfect stitching all make it such a beautiful scarf.
Hey Maya,
loved your site... super...
everything you touch you transform it into something pretty and that too so magically.
Could you do some challenge wher you transform old clothes into either wearble new things or maybe even art objects. i have tonnes of denim pants and trousers of my husband which are lying around. similarly I have 2 blazers too... can you tell me how to transform them into some skirts bags or art piences.. will be greatly helpful if you could share your great creative ideas with me..
pls give it a thought...
love you..;-D
It take you so long to make one scarf? How much does it cost then? The colours are loovely!
