I hope Blogger will oblige and permit you to view an enlarged version of the image belowwhen you click on it. Some of the text is not clearly visible. In orange is http://www.climatecrisis.net/ and below that in brown is Earth Day- April 22.
Here are both the pages of the April TIF.
I'm happy to report that all the tussar silk, sequins, beads and embroidery thread came from my stash of craft things The base fabric for the piece itself is a laundry bag from a hotel, I've been recycling these laundry bags and using them as the base for all my TIF pieces. That's an attempt to walk the talk - reduce, reuse and recycle.

Your pieces turned out super. Love your tree with a great trunk and stylized leaves and blossoms or fruit. The page with all the info is great too. You are talking about the "big" change!
Thank-you Freebird.I had fun doing this month's challenge.

I must say you manage to pack a lot of work into a month. And all so meaningful too.
I'm trying to pack in a lot every month, its not easy with all the fantastic challenges etc people are hosting on various blogs and i want to be a part of evrything because they are all so darn exciting and challenging.thanks for stopping to visit and leaving a comment.
Wow Embellisher,
This is beautiful work (play). Energy just radiates from the screen. I'm helpless with a needle and thread, so I'm quite impressed with the detail you were able to add. I love the fact that you used what you had instead of buying more.
Hello Caroline,
Must say I'm quite chuffed by the fact that i didn't have to buy anything for this month's challenge.let's see if I can pull it off next month too, that way my stash of stuff will get used up.
Your work is so beautiful - I'm getting to know your style - it is distinctive and eye catching. The details of each piece, when enlarged, are amazing. The tree is beautiful.
Hi Kate, good to hear from you, thank-you for the comment really appreciate it.I've added some grass at the base of the tree, it needed to be grounded - it looks like its floating otherwise.
I love these- really dynamic. Especially love all the circles in the tree and your embroidered writing - and how cool that it was all done with stuff you had already
