Stardust

I've been working on another narrow patchwork scarf. this one has some patches of tussar silk embroidered at random with fly stitch.

Will show you the finished scarf in a couple of days.I'm using the paper foundation method of patchwork. I have only worked with squares and rectangles, must try other shapes.

The Y stitching is very effective, Maya and as usual your colours are lovely. Is it very difficult to work with silk?

I'm fascinated by this. It looks wonderful. The paper foundation looks very stiff. Is it more like card?

Yes it is card not paper Pam. I use the carton that our breakfast museli comes in. The card paper is good to use for a couple of times before they have to be thrown away.

Ooh, I love the colour of the silks. Your stitches really add to the scarf.
