The garden in Coonoor Club is small but simply bursting with colour and blooms of every sort but the Dahlias ....................... OMG are simply to die for. Perfection in every petal.
So beautiful. The Annual Flower Show is on in Ooty this weekend, the place will be a zoo but the flowers will be stunning.

I love your new look ... the Zinnias are incredible. I hope you are able to take in the flower show. I imagine it will be beautiful. I should plant some Dahlias because they are so cheerful looking. The only problem here is that they often bloom closer to our first frost. I like your red background!
The Flame of the Forest is stunning. I would have loved being on the trip - the Langurs are indeed elegant and the elephants beautiful.
Thanks for visiting Kate and for all the comments.I'm back in Bangalore so I won't be seeing all the gorgeous flowers in the flower show.So glad you like the red background.A trip into the jungles is always so refreshing.
I just spent some time reading your blog.....it's quite interesting and beautiful! The dahlias are breathtaking, the scenery also and your posts on color make me appreciate each color more and more. So nice! I'm telling my daughter to look you up...Pat at birdnestonthegroundkgjcmqw
Hello Pat, thank-you for coming over and letting your daughter know about my blog. The colour week was a good assignment made me appreciate colours and things around the house once again.

Totally unreal and unbelievable. To see a whole bed of them in bloom is simply mindblowing.Priya reminds me of your beautiful huge dry pastel flowers - feel like making another one after seeing these photographs? or has the style changed forever?
no style of mine will ever do justice to such beauty.
sigh!
Now you are being modest. The blue fairy has been framed, I'll photograph and write up a post soon.
