A quilt experiment - Bird of Paradise

I'm experimenting with creating a hand pieced layer of inchies which will support a layer of Suffolk puffs.
A contemporary quilt inspired by Bird of Paradise.
The 20" × 20" layer of inchies are done and now I've begun making the Suffolk puffs. 400 to be made.

That is a grand project and will be stunning to see. Do you use a Yo-yo/Suffolk Puff maker (by Clover) or do you make the puffs in the traditional way? To make 400 you need to be very patient!
Enjoy the process!

That's a lot of Suffolk puffs - wishing you perseverance and nimble fingers!

Thank you for your comment @Queeniepatch.
Didn't know of a yo-yo/Suffolk Puff maker actually, just made the 400 the traditional way.
Now that I know, I'm going to look out for this device to make Yo-yos. Thank you for that bit of information.
